OSS Nighthawks Win SCAA Jr AAA Girls Basketball Championship

Submitted Orillia Secondary School’s junior girls basketball team successfully defended their Simcoe County Athletic Association title Thursday as they squeaked out a nailbiting 39-32 win over Eastview Secondary School. The OSS Jr Girls basketball won the SCAA AAA championship on Thursday Nov. 9th by defeating the Eastview Wildcats by a score of 39-32. The Jr Nighthawks will now host JOA in the GBSSA championship on Thurs. Nov. 16th at 5:00 pm. Tritons Defeat Kodiaks 38-0 in SCAA Sr Football Championship

The NSSS Tritons defeated the BCSS Kodiaks 38-0 in the SCAA Sr football championship game. The Tritons now advance to the GBSSA Sr football championship against St. Joan of Arc which is scheduled for Thursday Nov. 16th at J.C. Massie field. Romeo Dallaire Sr Volleyball Wins SCAA “A” Championship

Romeo-Dallaire defeated Nouvelle-Alliance in four sets to claim the SCAA senior boys ‘A’ title on Tuesday Nov. 7th. The Viperes will now play in the GBSSA semi-final at Jean Vanier on Nov. 9th at 3:00 pm. The winner of the GBSSA semi-final game will host the Muskoka-Parry Sound entry in the GBSSA final scheduled for Nov. 15th. In the SCAA Sr football semi-finals on Friday Nov. 3rd NSSS defeated BNCI 20-0 while BCSS defeated ESS 19-7. The NSSS Tritons will play the BCSS Kodiaks in the SCAA Sr football championship Thursday Nov. 9th at J.C. Massie field which is located on the Georgian College Barrie campus.
